Pakistan and Türkiye have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation against terrorism, narcotics trafficking and organised crime, according to the Press Information Department’s October 9 statement.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Turkish counterpart Mustafa Çiftçi in Istanbul. The countries also agreed to establish a joint working group between their interior ministries, with discussions covering technical assistance, expert exchanges and cyber policing.

The announcement reflects plans for closer institutional coordination. It does not establish that joint enforcement operations have already begun or that specific security outcomes have been achieved.
