The government has cut the petrol price by Re0.66 per litre to Rs398.30 and increased high-speed diesel by Re0.52 to Rs396.24 under a new Petroleum Division notification.
The rates apply from Saturday, October 10, through Monday, October 12, 2026. They replace the previous rates of Rs398.96 for petrol and Rs395.72 for diesel.
The small adjustment comes amid elevated energy prices and disruption to international markets. This is a separate notification from the fuel-price change reported on October 9. The prices may be revised again following a subsequent government notification.
