ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the notified price of an 11.8-kilogramme domestic LPG cylinder by Rs174 for November 2026, taking it to Rs3,470.
The new rate, effective November 1, represents an increase of approximately 5% over October’s price of Rs3,296.
On a per-kilogramme basis, the notified price has increased from Rs279 to approximately Rs294, a rise of Rs15.
The adjustment marks a second consecutive monthly increase. In October, OGRA raised the LPG price by approximately Rs21 per kilogramme from September’s level.
LPG is used for cooking and heating across Pakistan, particularly in areas without access to piped natural gas.
The price increase also affects small restaurants and other businesses that use cylinders for daily operations.
Official rate and retail prices
OGRA’s monthly notification establishes the official price benchmark. The amount consumers actually pay can differ depending on local supply and retail conditions.
Pakistan’s LPG market has faced shortages in recent weeks, but those disruptions are separate from the calculation of November’s notified price.
November’s notified price will remain the relevant monthly benchmark unless OGRA issues a further revision.
