ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Group has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs4.73 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, marking a recovery from a substantial loss in the corresponding period last year.
The telecom group had recorded a consolidated loss of approximately Rs11.18 billion during the first nine months of 2025.
According to financial results announced on October 22, the group’s revenue increased by 62% year-on-year, supported by the integration of Telenor Pakistan and growth across telecommunications services.
The enlarged mobile business contributed to the improvement, while consolidated operating profit increased by 181%.
PTCL’s own operations also recorded stronger financial performance.
The company’s standalone revenue rose by 9% compared with the corresponding period last year, supported by demand for broadband and enterprise technology services.
Revenue from its Flash Fiber business increased by 26%, while Business Solutions revenue grew by 15%.
PTCL’s own operations recorded a profit of approximately Rs2.96 billion, compared with a loss of Rs1.22 billion a year earlier.
The results reflect the changing structure of Pakistan’s telecommunications market following the integration of Telenor Pakistan into the PTCL Group’s mobile operations.
The company continues to compete in broadband, mobile connectivity and business technology services as operators invest in larger networks and digital infrastructure.
No dividend was recommended for the reporting period.
