ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines has unveiled a new cabin crew uniform collection designed by prominent Pakistani fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, widely known as HSY.

The airline announced the designs on October 22, with the collection scheduled to enter service on October 31, 2026.

The uniforms are expected to make their operational debut aboard PIA’s inaugural Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flight from London to Islamabad.

According to the airline, the collection combines contemporary styling with elements inspired by Pakistani culture and craftsmanship.

The designs incorporate breathable fabrics, structured tailoring and features intended to improve comfort and movement during long-haul flights.

HSY was selected following a competitive presentation in Karachi involving 10 Pakistani fashion designers.

The airline has previously worked with prominent designers as part of its cabin crew identity, including international and Pakistani fashion names.

Cabin crew uniforms are a visible part of an airline’s branding and passenger experience, particularly on international routes.

The new collection is intended to present a refreshed visual identity while meeting the practical requirements of cabin crew duties.

The announcement comes as PIA prepares to introduce the uniforms alongside its planned Dreamliner service.

Although the designs have been revealed, their scheduled in-flight debut remains October 31.
