DOHA: Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan inaugurated Pakistan’s Export Display Centre in Doha on Wednesday, October 28, as part of efforts to expand the country’s commercial presence in Qatar.

The centre will provide a platform for displaying Pakistani products and connecting exporters with prospective buyers in the Qatari market.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, the facility is intended to support business-to-business engagement, improve product visibility and help exporters identify commercial opportunities.

Speaking at the inauguration, Jam Kamal Khan emphasised the importance of promoting Pakistani goods internationally and developing stronger links between businesses in both countries.

The minister also met members of the Pakistani business community in Qatar. Discussions focused on trade opportunities, commercial partnerships and ways to increase the presence of Pakistani products in the local market.

The government expects overseas Pakistani businesses to play a role in introducing exporters to potential customers and developing trade relationships.

The inauguration forms part of Pakistan’s wider programme to strengthen export promotion and private-sector cooperation with international markets.
