FAISALABAD, October 31, 2026 — Pakistani textile manufacturer Interloop Limited reported a 53% increase in standalone quarterly profit to Rs4.28 billion, as higher sales and improved operating earnings supported its financial performance during the July–September period.
The company’s unaudited results for the first quarter of the 2026–27 financial year show that standalone profit increased from approximately Rs2.80 billion in the corresponding quarter last year.
Net sales rose 13.9% to Rs49.71 billion from Rs43.77 billion, while earnings per share increased to Rs3.05 from Rs2.00, according to financial information submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The rise in profit substantially exceeded the growth in revenue, indicating that the company retained a larger share of its sales as earnings during the quarter.
Interloop’s standalone gross profit increased 11.3% to Rs11.33 billion, while operating profit rose 21.7% to Rs7.59 billion.
Based on the reported figures, its standalone net profit margin improved to approximately 8.6% from 6.4% a year earlier.
The stronger bottom-line performance came despite higher finance costs, which remained a consideration for the company during the quarter.
Interloop also reported a separate set of consolidated results covering its subsidiaries.
Consolidated revenue reached approximately Rs50.75 billion, while group profit after tax stood at Rs4.23 billion, representing an increase of about 54.3% from the corresponding period last year. Consolidated earnings per share were Rs3.03.
The distinction is significant because the Rs4.28 billion headline profit relates to Interloop Limited’s standalone accounts, while the consolidated figures reflect the financial performance of the wider group.
The company did not announce an interim cash dividend for the quarter.
Interloop is one of Pakistan’s major textile and apparel manufacturers, supplying products to international markets. Its performance is relevant to the wider textile industry, which remains a major source of export earnings for the country.
The latest results show a marked improvement in profitability despite more moderate growth in sales. However, the financial figures alone do not establish how much of the improvement came from changes in export prices, production volumes, exchange rates or individual product segments.
Those factors are important to assessing whether the increase in earnings can be sustained in subsequent quarters.
The company’s first-quarter results were initially announced on October 22, with its detailed quarterly report subsequently filed with the exchange on October 30.
