ISLAMABAD, October 25, 2026: Bestway Group has officially introduced Chinese automotive manufacturer Geely Auto to Pakistan, unveiling three electric and electrified vehicles as part of its expansion into the country’s automobile industry.
The launch took place in Islamabad on Saturday, October 24, marking Bestway Group’s entry into the automotive sector through Bestway Automotive, Geely’s authorised distributor in Pakistan.
The initial lineup includes the Geely EX2, a compact electric hatchback designed for urban travel; the Geely EX5, a fully electric sport utility vehicle; and the Geely Starray, an electrified SUV combining electric propulsion with a petrol engine.
Bestway Automotive will oversee vehicle sales, after-sales services and the development of Geely’s presence in the Pakistani market.
The company is also preparing a facility at Port Qasim in Karachi for future local vehicle assembly. Initial vehicles are expected to be imported while preparations for domestic production continue.
Bestway has outlined plans to establish a dealership network, develop charging infrastructure and expand customer support services to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles.
Company representatives described the partnership as a long-term investment in Pakistan’s automotive industry, with potential opportunities for manufacturing, employment and technical skills development.
The introduction comes as Pakistan’s automobile market shows growing interest in electric and hybrid vehicles, although affordability, charging availability and after-sales support remain important considerations for buyers.
Official vehicle prices, booking dates and final Pakistan-market specifications have not yet been announced. These details are expected to be released through the company’s authorised channels.
