KARACHI, October 26, 2026: FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited reported profit after tax of approximately Rs6.46 billion for the first nine months of 2026, an increase of nearly 209 percent compared with the corresponding period last year.
Unaudited financial results announced on Monday show that the dairy company’s revenue rose by approximately 10.1 percent to Rs88.36 billion during January to September.
Gross profit increased by 35 percent to Rs19.42 billion, while operating profit grew by 53.5 percent to approximately Rs10.67 billion.
The figures indicate that profitability improved considerably faster than sales, reflecting stronger margins during the reporting period.
Earnings per share increased to Rs8.43, representing growth of approximately 209.5 percent from a year earlier.
The company’s reported profit growth was therefore substantially higher than its revenue growth, highlighting the contribution of improved profitability rather than sales expansion alone.
The financial disclosure indicated that stronger gross margins were an important factor behind the earnings increase.
FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan operates in the country’s dairy and food sector, where companies must manage production, procurement, distribution and other operating costs alongside changing consumer demand.
Changes in raw material costs, product pricing and operating efficiency can have a significant effect on earnings.
The latest results demonstrate the scale of the company’s financial improvement during the nine-month period.
However, strong year-on-year growth does not necessarily mean that the same rate of increase will continue in future quarters.
Future performance will depend on consumer demand, input costs, competition and the company’s ability to maintain its margins.
The company did not announce a cash dividend alongside the reported results.
