KARACHI, November 6, 2026 — The Sindh government has presented investment opportunities at the Karachi Marble City Industrial Park, with land expected to cost approximately Rs25 million per acre.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the details during a pre-launch ceremony held on Thursday.
Industrial Park Near Northern Bypass
The project covers approximately 300 acres near Karachi’s Northern Bypass and is being developed under a public-private partnership framework.
It aims to establish modern facilities for processing marble and granite into finished products for domestic and international markets.
According to the Sindh government’s project information, the estimated development cost is Rs10.53 billion, with completion scheduled for April 2027.
Instalment Payments for Investors
Memon said investors would be offered instalment options instead of having to pay the entire land price upfront.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Qasim Naveed Qamar said investor registration was expected to begin next month.
The government is also exploring lower electricity tariffs and access to industrial equipment for businesses operating in the park.
The project is intended to encourage local manufacturing, increase the value of Pakistan’s mineral resources and create employment opportunities.
