KARACHI, November 4, 2026: Fauji Foundation has acquired a 19.70% voting stake in Pakistan Services Limited (PSEL), the company behind the Pearl-Continental hotel chain, for approximately Rs6.55 billion.
According to a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on November 3, Fauji Foundation purchased 6,406,797 voting shares at Rs1,022.42 per share.
The transaction makes Fauji Foundation a significant shareholder in one of Pakistan’s established hospitality companies.
Major Investment in Hospitality Sector
Pakistan Services Limited owns and operates Pearl-Continental hotels across Pakistan and is principally engaged in the hospitality business.
The acquisition follows several changes in the company’s shareholding structure over the past year, including investments by AKD Group and other major shareholders.
Fauji Foundation’s 19.70% stake represents a substantial investment but does not give it majority ownership of the company.
The PSX disclosure did not announce any immediate changes to Pakistan Services Limited’s management, board composition or hotel operations.
The transaction adds another major investor to Pakistan’s hospitality sector as the company’s ownership structure continues to evolve.
